Lima - Beloved wife, adored mother and grandmother, and devoted follower of Christ - went home to be with her Lord on May 9, 2021 at the age of 57. Brenda was born in Dansville to Lawrence and Lurline Craft. She grew up in Avon where she met and married her high school sweetheart, David, with whom she spent the next 38 years. Together they had four children and four beautiful grandchildren.
Brenda was a loving, resilient, whirlwind of a woman. She baked her love into every pie and chocolate chip cookie, folded it into every piece of laundry, and wove it into every song…even if she didn’t know all the words. Though she was often content to remain in the background, she served her God and those around her relentlessly, from the church classrooms of New York to the mission field of Congo and back again. If you were lucky enough to be loved by her, you knew it without a doubt. Each of us were truly fortunate to be offered that love and to love her in return.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, May 14, 2021 from Noon to 1pm at the Coronerstone Baptist Church, 432 Reservoir Road, Geneseo where her memorial service will be held following calling hours at 1pm. Private interment Union Cemetery, Livonia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lima Christian School, 1574 Rochester Street Lima, NY 14485 or donate on line at memorial.limachristian.org
